What The Crab Told His Children Poem by Tony Adah

What The Crab Told His Children

I Lie here hungry
From the night long scavenging
For your convenience
If the worms in your stomach will
Stop agitating and I have my sleep
You can be happy again.
It is for your sake that
I came to this world.
Remember
In our own world
Fathers do not
Visit their Children.
