Are you the sweetest honey of the Jawad hills
to rejuvenate my mind and life?
Are you the spotted deer of the Kutralam hills
running towards me for the caress of my hand?
Are you the roaming bee from the Kodaikanal hills
humming music in my ears to revive my spirit?
Are you the fairy hovering over the vales of Himalayas
to sing songs in my ears and slip me into a world of sleep?
Are you the lotus in the rain-fed tank
to sink all my worries and keep me alive?
Are you the mango from that tallest tree
to snatch, taste and remember for ever?
Are you the cool moon to guide me in the dark
and comfort to pacify my disturbed soul?
Whatever you are, you are my inspiring muse
to activate my tired heart and sing some simple songs!
