When Poem by Peter S. Quinn

When

When day becomes a night
and dreams begun to fall,
where a heart is for a blight
in beats of each its new call.
When dreams become unsure
and nothing keeps on giving,
like dreams that do allure
inside each theme of living.

Then the hours are so dark
with everything gone to give,
each way and growing spark
trials of the traditions to live.
Moment are never the same
life is just footsteps there on,
burn on to daydreams flame
'till everything is again gone

When day becomes a dream
on to new thoughts desire,
and means to days all seem
building on hopes and fire.
Then everything is a mirage
dream found in a delusion,
hope for a tryout in montage
none of reality in confusion.
