When Angels Visit Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

When Angels Visit

In the stillness of the room
soft shadows gather,
whispers of comfort linger in the air
as the weight of the world gently fades.

He lies in quiet reflection,
the ticking cloak a distant sound,
memories flicker like candlelight,
each one a thread woven into his being.

He feels their presence,
gentle wings brushing against his soul,
guiding him through the veil of uncertainty,
a soft assurance in the darkness.

Voices of loved ones,
passing by in the corridors of his mind,
reminding him he is never alone,
even as the light begins to dim.

He waits with open arms,
for the warmth of their embrace,
to lift him beyond this fragile body,
to a place where peace resides.

In this sacred moment, he surrenders,
trusting the Angels will lead him home,
where love transcends all pain.
