When Cynlee Looks Into The Mirror Poem by Carl Toothman

When Cynlee Looks Into The Mirror

When Cynlee looks in the mirror

She’ll see us all standing near her.

You’ve got to know we’re on your side.

Such is the love we cannot hide.

Hang in there gal, and do your best,

to give your lungs that much needed rest.

Save your money, save your sweet life.

We know you’re not the losing type.

You want to live, you want to breathe,

the sweet air cleansed by many trees.

Together we can try to hope,

that Cynlee gives up cigs and smoke.

Many I know, will wish her luck,

to raise herself out of the muck.

Losing life and all that money,

she so sweet just like the honey,

she with golden hair, lovely eyes,

should do her best to stay alive.
