When Equilibrium Is Within Our Hands Poem by Mark Heathcote

When Equilibrium Is Within Our Hands

Why does someone always rock the boat?
When calm waters are already afloat.
This intentional divergence is frustrating.
When equilibrium is within our hands
And why is it that this jester takes on all commands?
And blames the other for mutineering,
At the moment, they're shedding tears.
Why is it that the sky turns
From blue to black
And all you want to do is row quickly back.
