When Everything Becomes Nothing Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

When Everything Becomes Nothing

Silence fills the spaces where voices used to be,
footsteps fade into the dust of forgotten paths.
The sky stretches wide, empty, waiting-
but not one looks up anymore.

Memories unravel like threads in the wind,
names dissolve before they are spoken.
What was built crumbles,
what was loved drifts away.

There is no sound, no weight, no time
-
only the echo of what once was,
vanishing into nothing.
