When First I Saw Your Face Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

When First I Saw Your Face

When first I saw your face
I dreamt, but did not think my dream
Flesh to flesh, lips to lips, overwhelming
Would be focus of my life
Heart seeded to flourish
With love's precious flowers.

Your beauty enhancing my Muse
Giving delight and joy.
When alone hearing your voice
Echoing sweetly within my mind
Whispering your love for me
And I bless the woman who gave you birth.
