When God Hold His Peace Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

When God Hold His Peace

Rating: 5.0

When God hold His peace
He chooses to ignore some things
The unrighteous He allows to thrive
The ignorant thought He's fast asleep
The wicked He extend his days
The tyrants He prolong their reign
Hoping someday they would amend their ways
With open hands the sinners He embrace
Excitement shown on everyone's face
Seeing the lost sheep return to his usual base
He does whatever that make Him feel pleased
Many do ask if truly God exist
Saddened others do feel
Why do God allow the wicked to live?
Numerous questions trail
Why do God bless the sinners with increase?
Many do lose sleep
Why do God watch His children die of hunger and disease?
So much questions from different angle and within
Why do some believers hardly succeed?
This and more pagans usually tease.
