When I Gaze Upon The Beauty Painted Poem by Mohammad Younus

When I Gaze Upon The Beauty Painted

When I gaze upon the beauty painted
Across the universe's canvas, I find
Divine grace cloaking the morning light.
My mind rests in peace, awed by the sight,
And within my heart, where true beauty abides,
Lie yearnings that my eyes once sought in vain.

O Sun Divine! Let Your blessings rain,
As the music of rain softens illusion's dust,
Dispelling doubts that obscure Your light—
Doubts that stifle the harmony
Between my soul and its destined work.
I know I cannot scale the heights of Your wisdom,
Neither through whim nor hollow aspiration.

Your beauty, timeless, will not wane.
My love will pierce this mortal veil,
To find Your brilliance even in darkness.
My soul, a star, glows where Your light prevails.
No blemish can tarnish what You emancipate,
You reveal your beauty through purity of the soul.
