When I Look Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

When I look at totality of universe
It includes human beings, birds, animals
how they have created nice space!
And created challenge to survive in race

I find sky with different attitude
How much it accommodates with gratitude
Unaccounted stars and moon at the center
With no clash at all and ever some fear

Well below the belt, it houses open ground
The birds see it as flying zone all around
They venture freely and come back on earth
Tree as home and earth as shield till death

I find sea as majesty of its own class
How many lives take shelter in mass?
Each big creature kills smaller one to survive
Even great divers get afraid when resolutely dive

Whole of the nature is around us
Air, water and trees are there in abundance
When birds can sing and chirp openly
Why do we feel sad and sit sadly?

It is good to feel pleasure
We shall never be so much sure
Nature has given us so much
We need worry and think as such
