When I Met You Poem by Nudershada Cabanes

When I Met You

Rating: 5.0

When I met you
Music started playing
In the chambers of my heart
Where silence used to dwell

When I met you
Flowers started blooming
In the barren desert of my soul
Where nothing stirred within

When I met you
I saw an eternal spring
Winter sorrows disappear
When I met you my dear

(cont.) ...re the last stanza: i like to capitalize the seasons' names; i think teachers taught me to do so. so BRI would use Spring. and i'd use disappeared to 'stay in the past tense for verbs'. but, OTHERWISE, it is a very nice poem. who's the lucky person/fellow? or did this (mostly) all come from your imagination? to MyPoemList. chamber music is nice. bri :)

Where nothing stirred within...........i know your meaning, but it would be even clearer (TO ME) if you added something, like once (in front of nothing, and probably deleted within. hmm? (cont.) ...

So sweet and fascinating portrayal of how love brings about a complete transformation within a man or a woman showering happiness all the way. Thanks for sharing.
