When I thought life was getting better,
The world turned upside down.
My dreams and hopes were shattered,
As chaos and despair came to town.
I thought the worst was behind me,
That happiness was here to stay.
But fate had other plans, you see,
And darkness crept in every day.
I tried to fight, to stay afloat,
To find a glimmer of light.
But every effort seemed remote,
As sadness held me tight.
Yet, amidst the pain and sorrow,
I found a strength I never knew.
I learned to live for tomorrow,
And find joy in the little things anew.
Life may not always be easy,
And storms may come and go.
But I know I am strong and worthy,
And that hope will always grow.
So when I think life is getting better,
I cherish each moment with grace.
For even in the toughest weather,
Love and beauty find their place.
