You know I cry
A warm tender tear
As I write my poems
Year after year
They come from the heart
As I bear my soul
Let others in
So I never grow cold
The poems are my gift
They help me convey
The love that I share
Day after day
So if you should be
One to see my words
Say them aloud
So they can really be heard
They're meant for you
To look within
Relive or share a moment
With a loved one...a friend
