When In Doubt Don’t! Poem by Marilyn Lott

Do you ever have a decision to make
You don’t know whether to make it or not?
You weigh the odds both directions
After all that’s all that you’ve got

On one hand it’s probably a good thing
But yet, on the other it’s negative too
You’re torn between the decision
A decision that is all up to you

In life every single one of us
At sometime has to make this call
Sometimes it’s not going to hurt anything
Might not really be a problem at all

But there are times it’s very serious
And our judgment must be correct
We want to continue to maintain
What we consider to be our respect

So with a few years behind me
I’m not ancient but nor am I young
I’ve come up with the answer
And this is where this poem has begun

I think the best possible answer
You can use it, if you want as a quote
I truly believe in the statement
When you are in doubt, then don’t!
