Must I wait till when am eighteen
Before doing what is best for me
Should I use because am a teen
And refuse that that is meant for me
When is the best to fall in love?
Some said there are somethings I have to ignore
Mum told me I am too young to fall in love
But everybody knows there is nothing wrong
When a girl approach a boy
Pouring her heart all to him
Telling what she truly wants
Do I need to shy away from all that I need
Why wait for one to take the lead over a destination I know I can reach
Do I need a teacher all my life to teach me that I already know?
Do I need a mentor all the time before I can achieve a goal?
When is the best to fall in love?
There are many things I truly need
Though there aren't far from my reach
There are times am deprived of my wish
By the law or by what the preacher preach.
