When Our Lips Touched Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

When Our Lips Touched

The world held its breath,
time folding into itself,
the past and future slipping away.

Your warmth met mine,
not just skin, not just flesh,
but something deeper,
something without name.

A quiet trembling,
like the earth before rain,
like a secret finally spoken.

When our lips touched,
everything that was uncertain
became clear.
