a time may come
when poetry calls
to a suffering soul profound
before this time
poetry might be disliked
hated detested by indifferent
or intelligent minds
but sudden one day catalyst
might be the loss
of a close loved one
an empty void
questions of life values
tragedies disasters
irritant questions
might sudden prompt
a need to emotive express
thoughts unleash nerve heightened
emotions in times of stress
uncertainty pain poetry
may lure with thoughts
a line or two of poetry
first words first thoughts
which may develop
into a love for the sensitivity
ambiguity of good excellent
or masterpiece poetry
which addresses thoughts
need expression demanding
