When The Heart Cries Poem by Ronald Strickland

When The Heart Cries

When love has gone but the memories remains.
the memories of that love for you I will always retain.

I close my eyes and I can hear your love leave as if footsteps, as your love leaves prints in my heart as if footsteps in the sand.

My mind is empty with the absence of the dreams and love it held before your love walked away leaving a void in my heart where my love for you glowed, now lets my tear drops flow.

The footsteps are the scars left behind from the love and dreams because i believed with heart and soul.
