When The Spirit Of Truth

When the Spirit of truth takes control
It bids all lies to flee
For truth is found in a Person
The Lord Jesus of Calvary
Truth is a true entity
Jesus proclaimed it so
I am the way, the truth, the life
The Bible tells me so

The thief on the cross found Paradise
When He believed that day
Imagine the grace of Jesus Christ
When that sinner found the Way
There's hope until your dying day
But you don't have to wait till then
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ today
Find Him as the sinner's Friend

Hallelujah He's alive!
Still He's seeking for men
Who are tired of living the same old way
And need to be "born again"
God doesn't speak from Heaven today
You can hear Him in the Word
Check out the Bible for yourself
Where He can be really heard!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
