When War Is Necessary Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Peace will not come when men clench their fists
When words of hate are spoken with such raging gist,
When women and children are slaughtered by brutes,
War is the inevitable answer that will take root.

When there's blatant abuse and barbaric violence
A nation has not choice but to fight in defense,
No man will bow down to his annihilation
But will fight with all strength for his liberation.
