Whenever I Think Of You

Whenever I think of you, I feel an
ache in my heart. It brings me back
to so many things, I don't know where
to start. I remember things from my
childhood, as if it were yesterday. All
of them fond memories, I'm happy to
say. The places we went, the things
we did, are still ingrained in my mind.
The time you took me to the beach,
as we searched for as many shells,
that we could find. You always
instructed me that if I got lost, just
what to say. And when it happened,
I couldn't remember, but you managed
to find me, anyway. These are the things
that will always remain, even though time
has stood still. I can never put you out of
my mind and I know, I never will!
