Where All Of My Life For You I Have Waited (English Sonnet) Poem by Gert Strydom

Where All Of My Life For You I Have Waited (English Sonnet)

Your face by nature perfectly painted
is a backdrop for your eyes and passion,
where in love you are to me acquainted,
do follow your distinct kind of fashion,

draw from people gazes when you stroll.
With character, spirit, soul in your gaze,
it's something that you do not control,
you draw attention, do both sexes amaze.

Male and female were for each other created.
Without you life to me become dull and dead,
where all of my life for you I have waited
you do happiness and warmth to me spread.

I cannot get you out of my heart and mind,
without you I am like a beggar that is blind.
