Where are the old days?
Wednesday,5th May 2021
life was beautiful and enterprising
with full of zeal and surprising
parents were simple and down to an earth
we rarely watched the people go with death
very calm nature and shining day
that was our way of living
and believing in simplicity
the people love each other with no feeling of inferiority
the school was a model example
it was based on the old principles
love with a caring attitude and approach
we had reached some highest level
festivals and celebrations
it belonged to us with lots of excitations
no enmity and no bitter feelings
we all acted as well behaved human beings
as time moved on
it has shown
its true colour
with snatching of our dignity and honour
we have not only become materialistic
but bloodthirsty and unrealistic
noble services have gone on minting money
there is a show of no mercy and pity
doctors act with selfishness
politicians act with self-interest
country and society witness it with helplessness
where has gone the smile on the face?

Prasanna Bhatta Sympathy, without empathy, is valueless. Empathy shows the way of nobility. A man of nobility can have the power of forgiveness, That is the grace of God.
Shahid Nasim Hyder Author Hasmukh Mehta you drew a far more complete picture of life those days. This is the benefit of being a poet · Reply ·
