living my life all by myself
unknown to anyone
My mom so loving
where did you find me

Looking at pictures
and turning the pages
from Degas to Delacroix
dancing their ballets
smoking their pipes
where did you find me

My heart’s aflame
with burning desire
grinds me in the morning
to shout in wonder
where did you find me

My mum in excitement
seeking fulfillment
grants you contentment
how did you find me

Take me then stranger
bear me to your tent
tremendously loving
Now you’ve found me
