Where I'M From Poem by beautyqueen 639

Where I'M From

Rating: 4.0

I am from hula hoops and jump ropes
from dolls and my mom's high heels
and lipstick all over my face
I am from dancing and singing and acting
and being in the spotlight
From Taylor Lautner and Johnny Depp
From Orlando Bloom and Alex Pettyfer
And a million other stupid crushes
I'm from everything chocolate and lollipops
From singing in the shower and tap dancing on table tops
I am from belting out songs and making a fool out of myself
I am from rolling around on the floor
My chest aching from laughter
I am from crying all alone
In my room in a fetal position
I am from pointed fingers and hurt feelings
And picking yourself up again
I am from loathing and contempt
From faith and forgiveness
From laughter and craziness
From love and heartbreak
I am from the roots of the Earth
I am from the hands of God
I am from the humanity that I see everyday
I am from the essence of life
