Where Is Justice? Poem by Abdul Wahab

Where Is Justice?

In another time in another kingdom
We were three brothers all died
The first one was very pious
And went straight to paradise,
I was a man full of sin and
God pushed me into a big Hell.
The third one was very young
So he was neither virtuous or vice
And he was put in a neutral place
But alas! In the after world
There is no such kind of things at all
I invited him to stay with me in hell
But all the angels opposed me
As he was not a sinful at all
The eldest one called him, too
But he was opposed by the angels again
As the boy was neither a virtuous one.
My youngest brother started crying
And bitterly complained to God:
Why he was not given time to be matured
And to be eventually virtuous,
In answering him God said:
I knew you would be a thief
And I took pity on you and saved you
From the cruel fire of hell
Then I stood and asked Him
When he knew I was not going to be pious
Then why did He not give me death
When I too was too young? Where is justice?
