It seems like the sun is hidden
Waking up all I see is clouds
They are like grey depressing pillows
Covering the sky
Waking up seeing those pillows
And it starts raining even the sky is crying
All your mind thinks I´m going back to bed
Where is this shiny warm object?
Why I am not able to see it
Why can´t I see the beauty of a new day?
I don´t hear the birds singing
Welcoming a new beautiful day
Talking about birds
Got me thinking on “Firebird”
And the valuable lesson that his mom taught him
That behind all the storm and ugly clouds
The sun is always shining
Firebird’s mom taught me that:
“God never let the storm take the sun away”
As Firebird we need to learn
To rejoice in the rain
Even if you wake up in a storm
Learn to see the beauty of each day
It’s raining? Grab your rain boots and raincoat
And learn to dance in the rain
The sky is not crying see the rain drops as
Thousands and thousands of opportunities
That life throws at you
Doing so it doesn’t matter
Whether you can see the sun or not
The important thing is that everyday again you create
Your own sun! So where is your sun? !
A brilliant and highly philosophical poem, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. Indeed, behind the storms and ugly clouds the Sun is always shining. A lovely poem with powerful message. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
