Where It Hurts The Most Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Where It Hurts The Most

Jealousy prohibits me
Destitute of vision
In this reality
Trust with your heart
Love brings pain
Everything falls apart
Wounds heal slowly, don't complain
Fewer will notice your misery
make no mistakes with love
Dead to me now, you lay in a cemetery
Freely, I decided to walk out of...
The event that would cause me heartbreak
Dive into Hollow waters
Look closely, and see a shallow lake
The dangers that flirting brings
Emotions will become bruised
and with somethings...
One will ultimately become confused
Infatuations lead to disaster
with every minute you feel love...
you're soul will wither away,
And your love...will be no more
