Where Could You Be?
Back in the day
Some years ago
I've given my heart and wasn't afraid
Then I've passed the puppy love phase
and entered the companionate love stage
I only wanted to love another and grow with them overtime,
is that too much to ask?
To feel appreciated by that someone
who cherishes and compliments me
I'm looking for that one love
Searching and searching, traveling the world
trying to find that one who completes me
I know it's out there
I want to feel what love is
There's someone out here who can show me
I leaped before fully thinking
And each and everytime I'd become disappointed
On the outside, I remained strong
but on the inside my heart was broken
Piecing together the millions of pieces
to start all over again renewed
Destiny found me live through each experience
and i'd come out learning something new
I close my eyes and picture a love
which transcends through space and time
that one in a million
who satisfy my hearts wants, my hearts needs
finally, love, love that i knew exist
well, i can honestly say my heart is content
