Where Oh Where Poem by Tango

Where Oh Where

Where Oh Where

Suddenly I realise,
I'm old and slow,
where, where, oh where,
did all those years go?

Thousands of days all gone,
lost in the past, without trace.
Now all I haveto show for it,
are wrinkles all over my body,
including my face.

When one is young,
it is so easy to think,
that for every thing,
there is lots, and lotsof time.

But before you know it,
like me you are old and grey.
Now the future exists,
but only from day to day.

My thoughts exactly- the only thing I came up with was I was so nusy living every moment with a great deal of enjoyment and adventure I never noted the passage of time until I couldn't physically do what I had been doing... what a sad awakening. Great write, Tango.10++
