Where The Wind Blows Poem by Sven Rhoads

Where The Wind Blows

My destination remains unknown to me
But I know that place is calling my name
Lost in this world that doesn't want me to be
Where everyday has become one and the same

Every hammer blow that hits me in the forge
Burning all the poison out that I can't take anymore
I'm looking to the bright night sky
Guide me where the winds blows
Every heaving wave that hits me inside
Meets resistance and the question of why
For every bruise and scrape
Is left upon my battered soul

Love has all become a forgotten memory
Only now it remains a stranger to me
As I wander between here and eternity
Just longing to go where I can be free

Tonight I just want to close my eyes
Let me dream of that beautiful face
Tonight I just want to disappear
And find that deep longing place

As I sit here looking at forever and nothing
The silence is all that will dull the edge away.
