Where We Go - Poem by Lynzi Berner

I've been
thinking lately

No matter
where we go
from here
it's hard
to imagine you
not there

Our time
was short
at least together
the seconds
rolled on by

Then in a flash
it was over
memories
like snowfall
beautiful
but
fleeting
and
always leaving me
cold
