I called out in the silence,
but only the wind answered,
carrying my words to nowhere.
I searched for you in the night,
in the empty spaces between breaths,
in the echoes of promises once spoken.
The world felt heavier without your hands,
without the warmth I once knew,
without the presence I trusted.
Time moved forward, but I stood still,
waiting for footsteps that never came,
for a voice that faded into memory.
And now, when the weight has lifted,
when I have learned to stand alone,
you appear-asking if I still need you.
But I have already found myself.
