I wish the next dawn be rosier
Would this wish be granted, O Saviour?
Thou art compassion, Love incarnate
I am grateful, O Sovereign Lord, for the departing year
Thou unleashed a shower of blessings rare
It was Thee who illuminated the inner zones of brethren dear
And, of course, those of myself, driving away devils sinister
And their tempting, subtle, dark whisperings macabre
I don't forget the venomous evil serpents in their gawky attire
But Thy militant angels set me totally free, Thee I adore
May the entire Humanity be Thy chosen, O Saviour
Grant us life abundant, drive away all the dense, dark impure
