Whispers of the true self:
You, who cannot fathom
the breath that follows this one,
how dare you unveil
tomorrow's shrouded veil?
This life—a ripple fading,
a bubble adrift on time's restless tide,
brief as dew dissolving
in dawn's first light.
We are mist upon the threshold,
half-seen, dissolving into radiance—
a sigh, a shimmer, a fleeting hush
slipping through clenched fingers,
yet lingering in memory's hush.
We return, always return—
in the bloom of a bud, in the flight of a wing,
in every end that births a beginning.
Death? A sleight of sight.
The bubble bursts—yet the ocean sings.
The breath stills—yet the wind remembers.
Life folds inward, only to rise again,
a tide unceasing in its sacred dance.
Chase not the horizon's vanishing glow,
nor tally the debts the future owes.
Time is a vagabond, passing through;
this breath, this pulse, this now—
where eternity unveils itself.
Here I root myself,
still as stone, alive as flame,
where yesterday's ashes feed tomorrow's roots.
Here, my heart drums the hymn of Oneness—
the infinite's refrain,
whispered back to the stars.
