White cranes, dancing in the sky
Synchronizing movements with a lullaby
They swoop upon the land
And quickly out to sea
The leader doesn't look back
For he knows, where they will be
They come into a hover, side by side they swing
Singing to each other, under an umbrella of wings
Like blankets of white
Covering the skies
Moving slowly
Within my eyes
Then swooping down, yet one more time
Landing gracefully in groups of nine
They finished eating
Now they bask
Under the ray's
Of the sun's mask
Soon will be, extremely dark
For all the cranes to stand and part
So for now, they'll enjoy their rest
For tomorrows journey, will take them west.
