White Horses - Poem by Sersia Benjamin

Galloping, shimmering with extasy.
Hair flowing in a sunset sky.
The elegant movement of muscles.
The dream team of crystal clear beauty.
A wave of white horses.

Tangled seaweed beneath their hooves,
the silver depths reflecting their inner beauty.
Shells bobbing around in the unpredictable home of waves.

Beautiful peace seeps through the pores of the skin as you watch these beautiful white horses drifting towards you.

Silence.

Just the swell of hooves on the pebbles is able to be heard throughout this moment of knowing and realizing the meaning of you.

You also can reflect your inner beauty as you walk along the sea. White horses stay at bay while you walk bare foot in the sand, those foot prints convey the beauty you leave behind you, and the past that you will leave behind too. You will learn from.

How frail the human heart must be - a mirrored pool of thought.
