White Wind Poem by Stewie Johnson

White Wind

Full of love,
Full of despair,
She waits,

Weeping for his arrival
She watches,
Impatience falls for her,

Cries of pain,
Cries of relief,
She cast the white power from her soul,

Nothing,
Still nothing,
Her hands shaking, she casts again,

Hand lay still on a lover,
A body of heat,
The comfort of home,

The winds pass her by,
Exhaustion of the heart creeps up from behind,
Pain rips her open,

The body flickers
She remains still,
A Rhythm repeats over and over,

She looks up,
Life returns,
Tears reap her eyes once more,
A feeling anew,
Joy,

She collapses,

Unconscious mind arrives,

He awakes and watches
Unknown to her secret…
