Who Are They? Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

Who Are They?

Who are the haters? Why do they exist?
Full of misunderstandings, miss truths and fake news

Who are the trolls hiding under social media's bridge?
‘Fie, fih, foh, fum' I smell the blood of an internet bum

Who are the stalkers obsessed with other people's lives?
Jealousy rife filling the empty voids in their empty hearts

Who are the vipers spurting their venom at the vulnerable?
Why can't people just love and realise those fangs are unnecessary and obsolete

When you encounter digital demons don't bite show compassion
They are hurting souls projecting their personal scars onto others

Feel sorry for them no matter what they say
Their flames say more about them than you any day

If kindness forgiveness affection doesn't run out their viscous clock
Then that's why they invented a button so you can just block.
