Who Believes? Poem by Naveed Akram

Who Believes?

I believed in the eyes that devolved,
Watching still the scenes of nature;
I gathered myself to be thrown
Into the abyss of my design,
I see wounds on my body due to this abyss,
Eating away at my soul.
I am convinced, I am beautiful in thoughts
That conquer the wide expanse.
My sight is permitted to grow,
As the journey resulted in sport.
