'Is it a state of mind or thy ambition? ' Obviously terrorism is both a state of mind and the action a terrorist aspires to. It was the nuclear age and atomic weapons which first threatened 'the furnace of destruction.' A terrorist in possession of nuclear capability is another variation of the threat such weapons imply. 'The world peace has been spoiled' by war since before recorded history, terrorism is a late C20th concept. 'Millions of children were orphans And women widows, In the name of terrorism.' At present these numbers are casualties of war not terrorism, hopefully no acts of terrorism will ever achieve such numbers.
