baffling is urgent need social mystery
in times past when people ran to the circus
to see laugh at clowns with sad faces
people worn down or run desperate
to laugh have fun social entertainment
to see laugh at clowns with sad faces
is it because people cannot laugh
at sad events tragedy in their own lives
does this make acting out clowns
funny funnier with sad painted on faces
this raises an old question
who entertains funny circus clowns
who make crowds laugh
when the clowns are sad
will an entertainment hypnotist
strip away make up layers
leaving clowns with sad painted on faces
nothing left to hide behind no comfort masks
left with a shrinks bill prescription pills bottles
