Who Needs Enemies? Poem by Hebert Logerie

Who Needs Enemies?

I would guess: nobody
Negative thoughts are sickening
We need a better country
Not one that is worsening
Friends are sometimes worse than enemies
Out there, there is enough disease
Let's keep things positive and in prospective
Let's live well and remain active
Today is a new day
Yesterday is past
Another new day
Is coming very fast
Time is running
People are dying
Who needs enemies?
Maybe the crazy bees.

Wonderful poem, Herbert. Who needs enemies? Makes me think of the adage, love your enemies. Loving our enemies, turning our other cheek, a revolutionary message, maybe the most important message shared with humanity. Excellent and thought provoking poem!
