Who's Wisdom! Poem by Ronald Strickland

Who's Wisdom!

Shout at me, your words of wisdom
as I go though life's narrows.

Words spoken without meaning are seldom heard,
but will receive a glance or stare,
that only the speaker, can only hear.

Do not take from me my thoughts and
attempt control with yours.

Gather wisdom and peace and place at your feet
as a pathway, to lead where your mind leads you.

Without regret, to look behind with pride
leaving bridges to cross again.

Smile as others walk your path.
as they may find peace, and know your unspoken wisdom,
and have kindness, when they speak of you.

Wisdom is one's own knowledge,
not words spoken, that is seldom heard.
