Who Siren Rings Division Bell? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Who Siren Rings Division Bell?

is the government doing anything?
is the government sly doing something?
following an agenda to ignore the poor?

the government is trying
trying to influence popular opinion
to have contempt for less

fortunate
in society
poverty

poor

elected government
has sliced up society
with division lines

vertical lines
of race religion
colour nationality

to division bell dissect divide humanity

races sliced horizontally
into an economic caste system
to create an untouchable

neglected class status division
division lines are growing spreading
to favour protect an elite class

society is manipulated
in 2015 by an elite 1% at top controlling
their global corporations
