In a blink of an eye everything can change
In matter of minutes a lot can happen
Things are bound
Things are inevitable.
In the words of Dr Jane Goodall
" What we do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make"
Every day since the day we could start to remember
We are bombarded with decisions that will determine
Who we are as a person.
The present, the moments we're in and the here and now.
The choices we make today is pivotal because tomorrow is not promised
We look at mother earth her virtues are like parallel lines
She never changes, She gave us nothing but life and prosperity
All she does is give and all we do is take.
How does one have so much love, empathy and a merciful heart?
She does not take revenge yet she cries in secret
Her pain is astronomical, look around you
All you see is her wounds
She was like a masterpiece painting that everyone adored.
But now she is just another painting wilting away.
Will she remain?
Is this the end of mankind?
Is this the apocalypse?
Will we get another chance to rewrite our wrongs?
Will she rise like the phoenix?
Will there be a rebirth?
Who have we become?
We have become a monster of our own making
What right do we have to take one's life?
We are blinded by the choices we make
All we see is the outcome and not the consequences
Her consequences are one
Her outcome is one
That is death
Ceasing to exist
Lifelessness
Barren
A void
Now here she lays in peace
No more in agony
Mother earth, goodbye.
