Why am I single
That question has been asked,
Maybe it's because I don't mingle
Or maybe because I have been cheated on and harassed.
Maybe it's because that I snore
Or maybe because I go to bed late,
Maybe it's because I enjoy being a bachelor
Or maybe because I I haven't found my mate.
Maybe it's because I don't smoke or drink
Or ever curse or take the lords name in vain,
Or maybe because I like a woman who can think
And or one who doesn't seek pity or sadness as a gain.
Maybe it's because I don't go to pubs or bars
Or maybe it's because I don't like playing games,
Maybe I want to have happy memoirs
And not being remembered for having different dames.
Maybe it's because a woman I won't strike
Though it seems many women enjoyed to be beat upon,
Or maybe it's because the people that I don't like
Those who steal, use others, break promises and con.
Maybe it's because I won't lie or cheat
Or maybe I want a woman who is emotionally steady,
Maybe I want a woman who won't use or mistreat
Or maybe, I'm just tired of those games already.
