Why Can't You Poem by Randy McClave

Why Can't You

Why can't you just stay home
Why must you always roam,
Are you not at all happy with me
Why must you seemingly flee.
Why must you constantly cheat
And why must you cause deceit,
Why can't you be and stay loyal
Upon this or any soil.
Why can't you belong to just one man
As I belong to just one woman,
Why must you mislead and chase
Remember, life is not a race.
Why do you do the things that you do
How can you say you love me too,
Why can't you return all that you took
And by the way, why can't you cook.
