Why do black streams run from brown eyes
Down amber face
Over red mouth?
Why like hills are lips swollen andcurving, as your sweet tears race, twisting, turning, then spilling, now burning?

Can Saturns silver rings make cold and crystal wine dark streams seeking to pour into pools and rivers of regret? How much will you flood and flow before you drown in your salty sea of great sadness?

My love, upon your tides were there ships that sailed? How many have sunken searching for the gold in you? Have they your treasures stolen and behind left dreams of dreams broken?
Is this why black streams run from brown eyes down amber face over red mouth?
